Archangel Raphael
Angels
appear in classical myths and philosophy, in the vision of Shamans, in
Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, and Islam, as well as in
Judaism and Christianity. In all traditions angels serve as messengers
of God and are said to hover between heaven and earth. According to
many traditions each person on earth has a guardian angel and sometimes
more. Psalm 91:11 says: "For He shall give His angels charge over you
in all thy ways."
Because of the great suffering experienced by so many good souls, I chose Raphael known as a healer for this purpose. The virtues associated with Archangel Raphael are knowledge and healing, both of which are sorely needed today. The color associated with Raphael is green and deep pink. His special day is Wednesday but know dear one, he can be called upon at any time. The direction is East and the element Air. The heart is connected to Raphael and the number eight. If you enjoy crystals, choose Opals, Carnelian, Peridot, Emerald, Jade or Rose Quartz, which are considered related to him. Aromatherapy oils are Bergamot, Rose, Sandalwood and Geranium. Herbs are Valerian, Parsley and Mandrake.
Call on Raphael when you, a loved one, other forms of life, situation or country is out of balance, ill and in need of healing. He can also assist when you need new ideas or knowledge. Ask Raphael to bring into balance your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual self. Breathe in His green light...
